DAY 1- COCHIN – MUNNAR
On your arrival at cochin airport , meet our executive to welcome & receive you. Then a 120 Kilometer drive to Munnar, the heaven of Kerala with unending expanse of tea plantations, misty valleys & mountains and exotic species of flaura and fauna. Check in to the hotel and afternoon at leisure / you can visit the nearby attractions like tea museum, Hydel park, Munnar spice market etc & overnight stay.
DAY 2 – MUNNAR
After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing.
Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) - A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat, The Nilgiri Tahr, the place stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas. Visitors are taken to Rajamalai in forest dept vehicles and given an opportunity to see all this. Private vehicles are not allowed here. The National Park is usually closed at the time of calving of Nilgiri Tahr which is usually during the early months of every year.
Mattupetty & Kundala - The beautiful picnic spot to enjoy the serene view of lake & dam with recreational facilities like boating & horse riding etc.
Echo Point - Here you can enjoy the natural echo phenomenon situated at a scenic lake bank, The place surrounded with mist covered hills, waterfalls and clean air.
Munnar top station – The highest point in Munnar (1700 meter), here you can enjoy the panoramic view of Western Ghats and misty valleys from the height of 1700 meter.
Return to hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 3 - MUNNAR - THEKKADY
After breakfast, check out the hotel and move to Thekkady/Periyar, the wildlife destination of Kerala. You can enjoy a wonderful journey through the hills and valleys of Western Ghats. On the way visit Chellarkovil and Kumily . Check in to the hotel and go for sight seeing.
Kumily - the outskirts of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, is a plantation town closely associated with Thekkady. The spice & tea plantations and the bustling spice trading activities have made Kumily one of the important tourist and commercial centers in Kerala.
Chellarkovil – Enjoy the breathtaking view of plains and cascading waterfalls which emerge from Kerala and fall into the Thamil nadu region.The destination is placed around 1200 m above the sea level.
Boating in Periyar lake- In the evening you can go for boat cruise in the scenic periyar lake which flows through periyar tiger reserve. Here you will have chance to watch wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar deer etc are roaming on both sides of the lake. Also you can enjoy watching martial arts of Kerala, Kathakali, elephant ride, bamboo rafting etc.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay
DAY 4 THEKKADY - COCHIN
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Cochin to drop off.
